Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens launched at Rs 8,299; to come with 0.4x lens on front camera
#Viral tech newsMicromax has launched a new smartphone for the selfie generation. After the Canvas Selfie, you now have the Canvas Selfie Lens. It is called so because it comes with a clip on 0.4x lens unit integrated with the front camera, which enables you to click wide-angle selfies. The Canvas Selfie Lens is priced at Rs 8,299.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens has a 5-inch HD display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It houses a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There were no details on the exact chipset model. On the storage front, you get 8GB ROM and the capacity is expandable to up to 32GB. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and there will most likely be some Micromax skinning atop it as we had seen with the Canvas Selfie.
Coming to the cameras, on the rear side you have an 8MP auto-focus camera with a Sony sensor and Largan lens along with an LED flash unit. On the front, you have a 5MP camera with an Omnivision sensor and Largan lens. There is an in-built face beauty mode for skin smoothening, skin sharpening and so on.
The phone is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery which according to Micromax gives you 9 hours of talktime and 374 hours of standby time.
It will be available in White + Champagne and Moondust Gray colours. It can be purchased through online and offline stores. Vodafone users will get 500MB 3G data free for 2 months.
